The OU Health Sciences Office of Immigration Services (OIS) provides the following services to our international students to ensure they are supported:

Accurate and timely reporting to the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) in compliance with federal immigration requirements.

Immigration orientation, social security number, housing, and driver's license guidance

Advisement on maintenance of F-1 or J-1 status

Advisement on travel, I-20 and DS-2019 signatures, and consulate visa processes

Immigration change of status to F-1 or J-1 status

Employment authorization including F-1 OPT, STEM OPT, I-983 training plan, and CPT

International student resources & attorney workshops on immigration options after
F-1 and J-1 status
