OUHSC strives to attract, matriculate, and train students who not only possess the intellectual capacity to become a healthcare professional, but also have high ethical and professional behavior. Ethical and professional behaviors are critical to the effective education of OUHSC students, are considered a core competency in the academic program, and thus, are a key factor in academic good standing.
Expectations of professional behavior as well as procedures for breaches of ethical and professional behavior are outlined in the Student Professional Behavior in an Academic Program Policy in the Faculty Handbook. (Appendix C)
